Portrait Photography

The really exciting part about portrait photography is the opportunity to capture the essence of a person, or a group of people, in a picture.  And for us, that frequently involves the capture of a special context, in addition to a special person.  We challenge our customers to think about a context of their portrait that complements the subject(s) of their portrait.  Maybe for you it will be your own family room or backyard, or possibly the park where you and your wife were engaged, or even a local landmark.  Typically the location will not dominate the composition, but rather complement it.

And in contrast to a chain-store studio process, where they take a handful of shots for you and then charge steep package fees, our process is that you’re paying for our time and expertise-  we’ll typically take many pictures, and then provide you with digital copies, so that you can print and share at your discretion.
